Signing up

How do I sign-up?

Firstly, we’ll invite you to complete a short sign-up form on behalf of your household to see if you meet our criteria for participation. The form should take approximately 5 minutes to complete. You only need to complete one form per household.

We’ll ask you some questions about yourself, such as your age, gender, ethnicity, location, income and any paid work you’re currently doing, as well as your household status, such as how many adults live in your household and whether you have children living with you.

You can complete the sign-up form online here. If you would like support with completing the form you can contact the research team on realaccounts@nestcorporation.org.uk. After you’ve completed the form, one of the members of the research team will contact you to let you know if you are eligible to participate in the study.

Does everyone in my household have to complete the sign-up form?

No, only one member of the household needs to submit a sign-up form on behalf of the entire household.

What’s the deadline for deciding whether I want to participate?

Participant recruitment for the project will close on 4 August 2023.

What if I know someone who might be interested in participating? Can I refer them?

Yes, we would be really interested in hearing from any of your contacts who might be interested in taking part. They can find all the information about the research on the project website: realaccounts.org.uk where they can sign-up directly. Alternatively, they can contact the research team on realaccounts@nestcorporation.org.uk for more information or to set up an introductory call.
